The builds below are for testing. They are not signed yet, so both systems will ask whether you meant to run them.

macOS

Apple silicon and Intel, macOS 13 or later. Move Kenloom to Applications, then allow it once in System Settings, Privacy and Security, Open Anyway. On its first start the app has launchd run its daemon, which then starts at every login; it can be turned off in System Settings, General, Login Items.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. The installer needs no administrator: it installs for the person who runs it and adds an entry that starts the daemon with their session. Windows will show "Windows protected your PC"; choose More info, then Run anyway.

Removing it

macOS: quit the app, turn Kenloom off in Login Items and move it to the Trash. Windows: use Add or remove programs. Neither removes what you have kept in Kenloom; that lives in your own state directory.
